Pueblo Water employees are vital members of the community, not just because of the services that they provide, but because they give back in many ways. Our CARES program – Customer Assistance Referral and Evaluation Services – was developed in 2010 and has contributed more than $1 million in assistance to customers.
Many of our team members donate their time, tools, and talents to a wide variety of charities and organizations. Our own WET Committee (Water Work Employees Together) raise money throughout the year and donate to worthy causes.
Pueblo Water sponsored 18 drinking fountains and hydration stations on the grounds at Colorado State Fair, and has partnerships with entities like the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project, the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center, the Steelworks Museum, and the Pueblo Heritage Museum. Pueblo Water also conducts mini water festivals for schools and has given tours of its facilities.
