
Eligible Pueblo Water customer refunds now will be issued electronically through a secure email and text message. Customers can get their refunds in as little as 30 minutes, or up to 2 days, depending on the refund method selected.
Security is our top priority. Customers will be required to authenticate key pieces of account information to process their refund and must be able to authenticate through their email address and cell phone number. Should the authentication fail, a physical check will be issued and can take up to 30 additional days for processing.
So how does the process work?
Email and Text Notification: Customers will receive an email and text notification of their credit refund from Pueblo Water. You will be required to authenticate your account by confirming a security code sent by text message to your cell phone number. This link expires in 5 minutes. You can request a new link sent to you through your email, if the email link is valid. Once verified, you will follow the instructions to select the refund method from one of the following choices:
Once the refund method is confirmed, you must agree to the terms and conditions of the electronic refund and an electronic confirmation of the processing transaction will be sent by email and text message. Once the transaction has been processed, you will receive an electronic confirmation with the estimated time to expect your funds. Debit card, PayPal and Venmo refunds can take up to 30 minutes, a checking or savings account transfer up to 2 business days and may depend on your banking institution.
For security purposes, links will expire within seven (7) days. After this date, if an electronic method is not identified, a physical check will be mailed to your mailing address on file and can take up to an additional 30 days for processing.
