Pueblo Water remains open for business and will continue to provide high quality water for its customers during the state mandated stay at home order issued on Wednesday by Colorado Gov. Jared Polis.

Pueblo Water’s offices have been closed to the public since March 13, 2020 and will remain closed. However, services are still being provided. Pueblo Water workers wear ID badges at all times and are taking safety precautions set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Pueblo Water understands that COVID-19 is affecting many people in our community. As a result, we decided that effective 3/16/2020, we will not disconnect water service until further notice, however payment of your past due amount is highly encouraged. Pueblo Water closes offices to public

Pueblo Water is committed to the health and safety of its customers, as well as its own team members. In that regard, Pueblo Water is taking precautionary measures to the COVID-19 pandemic and has closed its offices to the public until further notice. The offices at our Alan C. Hamel Administration Building, 319 W. 4th Street, and our TD&E Building, 3rd & Elizabeth, now are restricted to authorized personnel only.

Pueblo Water will continue to provide quality customer service during these temporary closures. However, all residential- and commercial-related services will be handled via phone, the U.S. Postal Service, online or through the drive-thru located at our Alan C. Hamel Administration Building, 319 W. 4th Street.

“During these uncertain times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking precautions for both our customers and our customer service workers, dispatchers and entire Pueblo Water team,” Pueblo Water Executive Director Seth Clayton said. “We are comitted to providing the same quality customer service that we are known for. At this time, however, we are going to use other ways to handle our customers’ needs rather than face-to-face in our lobbies.”

  • Drop Box located in the 3rd lane of the drive thru
  • Drop Box located near Pueblo Bank & Trust, off 5th Street

  • Third-party locations such as Walmart, King Soopers (for a fee)
